Jennifer Elizondo serves the students at Lopez-Riggins Elementary as Principal. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2009. During her career in public education that began in 2005, she has served as a paraprofessional, special education teacher, assistant principal, instructional officer, and this is her fourth year as Principal at Lopez-Riggins Elementary.

 

Mrs. Elizondo received her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Brownsville and her Master of Education from The University of Texas at Brownsville. She also holds a Principal Certificate from The University of Texas at Brownsville.

Allicia Saldaña serves the students at Lopez Riggins Elementary School as Assistant Principal. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2020. During her career in public education that began in 1999, she has served as a an English teacher, librarian, Dean of Instruction, Curriculum Alignment Specialist, and an Assistant Principal. Mrs. Saldaña has been an assistant principal at Lopez Riggins Elementary School since 2020.

 

Mrs. Saldaña received her Bachelor of Arts in English degree from the University of Texas at Brownsville. She earned her Masters of Library Science from Texas Women’s University and her Masters of Educational Leadership and Technology from Lamar University.

Thelma A. Reyna serves the students at Lopez- Riggins Elementary as Instructional Officer. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2003. During her career in public education that began in 2003, she has served as a Substitute Teacher, Elementary Teacher, Counselor, Dean of Instruction. Ms. Reyna has been Instructional Officer at Lopez- Riggins Elementary since 2020.
 
Ms. Reyna received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from the University of Texas at Brownsville and her Master of Science in Counseling and Guidance degree from Texas A&M University- Kingsville. She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership at Texas A&M University- Kingsville.
