National Inclusive Schools Week

Location: Since its inception in 2001, Inclusive Schools Week has celebrated the progress that schools have made in providing a supportive and quality education to an increasingly diverse student population, including students who are marginalized due to disability, gender, socio-economic status, cultural heritage, language preference, and other factors.

Principal’s Message

Jennifer Elizondo serves the students at Lopez-Riggins Elementary as Principal. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2009.
 
During her career in public education that began in 2005, she has served as a paraprofessional, special education teacher, assistant principal, instructional officer, and this is her first year as Principal at Lopez-Riggins Elementary.
 
Mrs. Elizondo received her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Brownsville and her Master of Education from The University of Texas at Brownsville. She also holds a Principal Certificate from The University of Texas at Brownsville.
